A friend and I want to dress up as something from early British literature for Halloween, any ideas?

Me and my friend, (both girls) want to dress up for Halloween for a cl. We want our costumes to be related to each other, like a witch and a black cat only in Brit. Lit. We can't think of any ideas though. Early British literature ex. are Beowulf, Chauser, and King Arthur. Help!!
