Cell Division?! (9th grade biology) ?

There are 4 stages in mitosis the G1,S, G2, M...the M stage is really quick but is made of several stages itself. The whole point for mitosis and meiosis is to prodouce daughter cells if the dna doesn't replicate what's going to go into the daughter cell. Mitosis starts as 2n and the daughter cell is also 2n where as Meiosis starts as 2n the divides twice to make daughter cells that are 1n (meiosis is for the ual reproduction female 1n joins with male 1n to make 2n, diploid)
