Do we all get to Heaven eventually?

I believe that we are all connected through a higher power. Yet, I still think you have to own up eventually to your own actions. We are imperfect. However, I think the belief in Jesus and admitting your own weaknesses brings you to Heaven. For those that don't, I don't believe they go to hell. God or Jesus would not do that. But, are they given another chance or are they doomed into a "holding pattern" until they realize they are responsible to the higher power, and then allowed to land on the runway of salvation? I don't know. Then again, I can't picture someone like Hitler getting into Heaven. What do you think?
