Will the Church be removed from the earth before the Antichrist comes?

Yes, the Church will be removed before the Antichrist comes to power. People who believe this are called pre-tribulationists (as opposed to mid-tribs or post-tribs). The Bible says that the Church will be "caught up" in the clouds, which describes what we call the rapture. The 7 years of tribulation will follow the rapture of the church. Mid-tribulationists believe the rapture will occur in 3 1/2 years, where post-tribulationists believe the rapture will occur after the 7 years. The believers who reside on the earth during the tribulation period are those who accept Christ AFTER the rapture of the Church. There will be a few "saints" who will remain behind to give those who are left behind a last chance to accept the Lord.
