Wedding party dilemma?

Help! Can't decide how to place colors on wedding party.. colors are pink and champagne.. groom/groomsmen say no to pink, but I like pink as the color for the dresses and feel they should coordinate nicely some how, but what way would look best? How about girls in candy pink, groomsmen in black tux, champagne vest/tie, groom in black tux w/white vest/tie? Guys will have blush pink rose boutonniere.. how does that sound? Hmmmm....
