School Academic Eligibility list?

Hi, at my school (Wilson, yes the hazing school) we have an Academic Eligibility list. If you fail two or more cles, you can not go to extra curricular activities (ie sports games, clubs, etc.). It's pretty ******* stupid if you ask me. Anyway, if you show up, they give you an ISS or a sat detention. What I'm asking is, can they LEGALLY throw you out? (keep in mind you are a student with your parent/parents)
