Is the cl of 2013 doomed with harder admission?

I wouldn't say they're doomed. It sucks that highly qualified students such as Yu aren't getting into the colleges they want to, but there are ways around it. The best idea in my mind (I'm about to graduate from SDSU) is to go to a community college first, and then transfer. Some community colleges offer programs that guarantee admission into universities after you complete a certain course load. Community colleges are much much cheaper anyways, it's nice to be able to relax a little bit and figure out what you want your major to be instead of picking a major before you even go into college and then being stuck with it unless you want to pay a bunch more to continue going to a university.
