I have a scabies question?

i have a small infection of scabies ( the microscopic mites that burrow under the top layer of the skin) well they gave me a cream to kill it and everyone living with me as well as people o have been in contact with has to apply the cream to make sure it kills any mites they might have contracted. well everyone in the house used the cream but my grandma who is very stuborn and says shes not itching and wont use it. iv been in her room and around here and stuff but i havnt like snuggles up to her ( meaning i havnt stayed in close contact with her since iv had scabies) is itr possible that maybe she doesnt have any mites afterall??
