I am moving into a new house, can anyone recommend reliable and quality furniture company?

I have been working overseas for ten years just came back to Leeds recently. I bought a new house and don't have any furniture at the moment. I will move into that house in June. I need wardrobes, beds, sofa, dining table, study desk..... I don't know how to emble things. I checked few furniture places and found most of the furnitures in the UK need to be embled by yourself. Builder told me that if I can buy fitted wardrobe before the building is completed, I can get that wardrobe VAT free. I asked SHARPS bathroom and they quoted me GBP3000(after huge discount) just for a small wardrobe and a study desk. I was planning to get my sofa and bed from Harveys and dreams but it seems that a lot of people had bad experience with them(from the web). I don't want to get ripped off. I don't want my orders to be delayed. Things changed a lot within ten years. I don't know any reliable carpenter in Leeds. What shall I do? Please help me!
