How easy would it be do go from ice skating to skiing?
Ice skating and skiing have nothing to do with each other, so thats not going to help you. As for racing your cousins, theres no way that your going to have the control that you need to go that fast on your first time. It takes time to learn the basics, and then you can try going fast. The jumps you should put on hold until you have learned the basics and then gotten comfortable going fast. As for doing a backflip, you shouldn't try that ever, because a lot of hills don't allow inverted tricks. You should use poles all the time. It wouldn't be safe to "crouch down" otherwise known as tucking, and go straight down the hill ever, and definitely not on your first time. If you want to know my honest opinion, i don't think you should ever go skiing, because your going to hurt yourself and probably others, and its not fun to be at a ski hill where there are people who put you in danger. My dad is a ski patrol, and they can kick you out for misbehaving. Also, he's told me about the injuries he's had to treat, and all the times that people have gone to the hospital for serious ski accidents, so that could and probably will be you. SO DONT GO SKIING
