Blacks: Do you think that we should go natural?

I'm starting think we are slaves with invisible chains. We are so imilated into white culture that we embrace their standards of beauty. How many young brothers would date a dark sister or one with an afro? How many of us have the guts to rock one in the first place? For 400 years whites have taught us to be ashamed of being black, and today we look at our natural hair with disdain. We complain about the world not valuing black beauty, but don't we reinforce it when we shun what God gave us? When we wear their straight hair instead of our curls, aren't we saying that their hair is more beautiful than ours?
